I have collected tourmaline gemstones for decades; it is my favorite gemstone and this necklace embodies everything I love about it - the variety of colors from black tourmaline (known as schorl) to the rare blues (known as indicolite).....each color is created by different minerals present.
As those of us who are familiar with Watermelon Tourmaline know, the central Faceted Watermelon Tourmaline is of an extremely rare size and color; if you research the cost of large watermelon tourmaline (let alone faceted pieces) my price is well below market value. This is because I bought these decades ago.
Watermelon Tourmaline also contains powerful spiritual properties; the green hues in watermelon tourmaline represent healing and life energy... the pink hues are said to encourage self-love, empathy, and emotional healing.
