Exceptional and Rare Antique French Reine du Clerge (Queen of the Clergy) Medal - in raised relief with still crisp details, there is an image of Mother Mary and the Christ Jesus in her arms. As guardian of a priest's dignity and vocation, Mother Mary aids in living and growing in charity, wisdom, and fortitude. Mary, Mother of Priests, cares for priests with a unique love, seeing in them a great resemblance to the image of her Son, the Eternal High Priest.
On the reverse is an equally detailed image of Saint Tarcisius - Tarsicius was a martyr of the early Christian church who lived in the 3rd century. He is the patron saint of altar servers and first communicants.
