Welcome to my new "Jewelry Box" - a collection of special pieces from my jewelry box to yours! All unique, rare or one of a kind pieces to celebrate and adorn - YOU!
The Elements
I was so fortunate in the early 2000's to be able to afford really unique jewelry pieces- and this earring and ring set by Stephen Dweck is an example of this - both marked "One of a Kind" and numbered, they are stellar examples of his work with faceted gemstones. The ring is set in sterling vermeil with a checkerboard faceted tourmaline - I would call this watermelon tourmaline because you can see the edge of green....the ring (and earrings) is solid sterling and highly polished on all sides - the reflection in photo #6 makes it look like there is a rumple on the side of the ring, but there is not. The earrings are clip style with a pad that can be removed - the watermelon tourmaline is bezel set, with richly colored deep pink (almost wine colored) tourmalines.
Tourmaline is known to create a shield around a person and dissolve challenging energy and negative thought patterns, transmuting them into more beneficial and positive energy and beliefs. It is spiritually grounding and helpful to balancing all of the chakras.
