From my personal collection, these intricately woven earrings made from 14K gold wire, posts and butterfly backs are truly special! The tiny Faceted Aquamarines, Smoky Topaz, and rare Spessartine Garnets - with additional Tear Drop Faceted Spessartine Garnets - create a beautiful array of color and texture.
Spessartite is a magnesium aluminum silicate. Belonging to the garnet family, it can be distinguished from other varieties by its fiery orange color, hence why it’s famously called the “Garnet of the Sun.” Garnets are believed to possess incredible magical powers that can protect, heal, and even destroy enemies. In ancient times, garnets were used in warrior armors and priests’ clothing, not only as an ornament but as a talisman designed to ward off bad luck, diseases, poison, danger, and even evil spirits.
The 14K butterfly backs are hallmarked 14K.
The earrings measure 2 1/8 inches long from bottom of the earring posts - and are light and comfortable!
Please note my mannequin is about 50-75% to size (depending on your size of course) - so earrings generally appear larger than they are - always check measurements!
