Rare Antique 1882 19 Jewel YuChang Glass Bubble Watch Pendant - what makes this watch pendant so remarkable is it's condition - it is working and keeps time, it has 19 Ruby Jewels in the watch mechanism, it has no scratches on the bubble glass, the bezel is thick and the sapphire cabochon top is gorgeous! The use of the ruby in watches goes back to 18th century England where watchmakers first had the idea of using small rubies as bearings for the pivots of the balance.
