RARE Antique French Sterling Engraved Cross- one of the most beautiful engraved crosses I have seen....the front is filled with sacred images and symbols with "Sancta Unio" (Holy Union) and "Sacrorum Cordium" (Sacred Hearts)...On the reverse is "Monstra te Esse Matrum" (Show Yourself a Mother ...this comes from the hymn 'Ave Maris Stella':
....Show yourself a Mother,
he will hear your pleading,
whom your womb has sheltered,
and whose hand brings healing..."
